Hello All!
Well, if you've ventured this far, here is an update: My daughter is married and my son-in-law is wonderful! I am also a Grandmother! Addison is her name! She came into the world early but is now strong and healthy and fiery (I'm loving it!).
My son is majoring in Communications and has a creative spirit! I donated my left kidney to my brother in 2002. It was the greatest gift I had ever given anyone, it changed my life! Unfortunately, he is now ...Expand for more
longer with us but that doesn't change the way I feel about the gift I had given him, I feel blessed, and now he is safe and free from pain. More people should consider giving this type of gift. It truly can last a lifetime. I keep in touch with various Burdick alumni: Debbie Collins (Head), Doretta Smith (Carr), Cynthia Courts (Marshall), Paula Macon, Margaret Kelly and Wanda Vann.
